Review: Revlon Kissable Balm Stain!

Hello everyone! So I'm sure you've all heard that Revlon have released a new product very similar (try identical!) in appearance and concept to Clinique's Chubby Sticks. Revlon's version are called the 'Kissable Balm Stain' and mine is in the shade 'Rendez-Vous' - a beautiful bright orange shade that really adds something to any look!

The product provides a shiny, vibrant finish which I personally love and I really want to try out some more colours!

This product is perfect for summer as it provides a bit of moisture, (although I wouldn't go as far to say that it's like a tinted lip balm) an extremely long-lasting stain and the colour pigmentation is fantastic. It lasted on my lips all day and did not even come off after eating/drinking which was a massive bonus. Also, it didn't transfer on to anything that my lips touched - again this is great!

These are priced at £7.99 (although I picked up mine for £5.99 on an offer in Boots) and are available from both Boots and Superdrug.

So overall these are amazing, high-quality lip products Revlon have come up with and I think it's something everyone should have in their collection. I definitely want to try out some more colours as I absolutely love these!

Will you be picking one up?
Much Love,
Lizzy

How I Store: Lip Products!

I think I just need to accept that I'm never going to get these blog posts out at a consistent rate, well, at least not any time soon. I know, it's bad, but hey - at least I'm admitting it! ;)
"Hi my name is Lizzy and I don't blog regularly."
"Hi Lizzy."

Pahaha that aside, here is today's post...

I love looking at different ways to store my makeup, my collection is something I do take pride in and I want to display it nicely so when I was gifted this lipstick/product holder by my friend I couldn't have been happier!

It is a simple acrylic lip product holder in the shape of a flower which makes it slightly more unique I suppose.
It has space for six lip products and the section in the middle is a flower and I use that space also for Q-tips!

I put this holder on my dresser with the rest of my every day makeup and it's great for storing my favourite 'at the moment' lip products.

You can purchase this on amazon here along with lots of other lovely storage units by "GLAM" and for £3.95, what have you go to loose?!

Hope you enjoyed this post!

NOTD: Funky Fuchsia!

Hope you're having a great diamond jubilee weekend!<3
I have a NOTD for you all today, and I actually took these photos around Easter time but just haven't had time to do this post yet and am going to be painting my nails this colour after writing this post! Love this colour so much!

As a base for the nails I just used Rimmel's '60 Second' nail polish in 'Clear' and then went ahead and applied this Rimmel 'I <3 Lasting Finish' nail polish in the colour '025 Strawberry Fizz' - a lovely more pink fuchsia colour which is absolutely gorgeous! It applies so well to the nails and is practically opaque with one coat, although I did two just to make sure!

To finish off the nails I used Sally Hansen's 'Mega Shine' top coat and on my thumb and ring finger I used Barry M's Crackle Coat in 'White' just for something a little bit different to what I usually do! I think this colour could be a great year-round colour but particularly nice for spring & summer!

What's on your nails right now?
Much Love,
Lizzy

Haul: A Few Cheeky Purchases!

 Hello girlies!

Thought I would just let you know about some recent purchases of mine! I picked up three stila products from TKMaxx the other day! I got the Stila Sheer Colour Tinted Moisturiser with SPF 30, along with a concealer (which is far too dark so I can giving to my friend!) and a high-shine lip colour in the shade 'Serena' - a pretty "my lips but better with shimmer" colour! I have so far been LOVING the tinted moisturiser (expect to see that in a video soon) and the high shine lip colour is beautiful! The best thing about the stila products? I only paid £9.99 for all three! Amazing, I know! Obviously you can't pick and choose colours/shades very easily, but none the less, an incredible deal! I recommend popping down to your local TKMaxx and see what they have to offer!

I also picked up Cosmopolitan's beauty blender dupe from superdrug for £4.99 too on the same day when my EcoTools stippling kabuki failed on me and began to shred awfully! I picked this up as a temporary way to apply my foundation while I had nothing else (I now own the RT core collection - amazing!) and it actually worked pretty well! I think it's a great sponge and its very easy to use/work with!

Have you picked up anything exciting recently?
All for now folks!
Much Love,

Review: Benefit Eye Bright Pencil!

Today I have a little review on something I picked up last week during my Easter holidays - Benefits 'Eye Bright ' Pencil. This is a product that has been on my wishlist for a while now as I haven't really seen anything like it anywhere else. It was £14.50 so a little steep for a pencil but I think it was definitely worth it!
So, first off, the colour of the pencil is a milky pink colour with a slight hint of shimmer (more noticeable when applied to the eye) and although it is in pencil form, it glides onto the eye area easily and effortlessly as it were a gel formula and requires little blending.
Another thing I love about this product is how multi-purpose it is. I like to use this for highlighting the inner and outer corners of my eyes to brighten them up, line my waterline with it to make my eyes appear bigger and brighter and this pencil also works well on under-eye circles to get rid of any tiredness or darkness.

I find that the pencil has great staying power, but depending on what I'm doing (sport, shopping etc.) it can fade a bit on my waterline, but this is the only place I have noticed it fading.

The only other downside is that the pencil requires sharpening and to do this you have to purchase the benefit sharpener as no other typical sharpener is suitable for the job because the benefit pencils are generally thicker than the average eye pencil.

Overall I love this product and have used it everyday since I bought it, its a great investment and something I will get a lot of use out of and will re-purchase.

Hope you enjoyed!

NOTD: Topshop 'Causing A Stir'

I picked up this nail polish around September but surprisingly have only just gotten around to wearing it! Crazy stuff I know!

So this colour is in 'Causing A Stir' and its a gorgeous vibrant peach colour. It reminds me of Barry M's 'Peach Melba' but a shade darker!

The formula is good as it only takes 1 - 2 coats to get a good, opaque layer. I really like the finish of this nail polish - its creamy and very shiny!

I love this colour and think its a great one for spring!
If you want to know some of my other recommendations for springtime, check out my video!

Hope you enjoyed!
Much Love,
Lizzy
