A Few Little Treasures!

Good Evening Girlies!

So today I went to my brother's school's christmas fair which they hold every year to raise money for the school. Whilst I was there I had a look at some of the stalls and one of them stood out in particular.
The stall run by two ladies, a daughter and a mum and they were selling home-made jewellery, organic home-made soap and candles.
I love stalls like this and as the money was going to the school I didn't feel guilty in buying a few things! (Win-win, right? :D)

The first thing I purchased was two home-made bracelets which were a very good price at only £3.00 each! The green one is a basic bracelet and they silver one is a wrap-around elasticated bracelet. Both are absolutely gorgeous and fit perfectly around my wrists. (This can sometimes be a problem as I have tiny wrists! Observe.)

Aren't they pretty? :)

Next I got a soap which is wrapped up so beautifully I don't think I want to open it! It was £2.50, so again a very good price.
The lady said that the scent was 'Jasmine and Lemon Zest' and by smelling through the wrapper I can tell it is very fresh and calming. There are also little pieces of whole lemon and orange zest which look really nice - I can't wait to try it!

And last but not least I bought this little candle which was only £1.50! I really like it's packaging and it will look nice in my room when it isn't even being lit!
The scent of this candle is 'Cinnamon' but to me it doesn't just smell like cinnamon - it smells like Christmas in a candle! It smells very warming and spicy and I bet it will be lovely to have lit on those cold winter nights!

That's all I got and I hope you enjoyed this random post!

Lizzy's Lusts of the Week!

So today I am going to be doing a post on products I have discovered throughout the week and really want to try! I am going to attempt to do one of these posts every week so I hope you enjoy!
(All pictures are from google and are not my own. I do not 'own' them.)

Benefit Creaseless Cream Eyeshadow in 'R.S.V.P'
Okay, first of all - how gorgeous IS this colour! (The answer is very.)
I do not currently own any cream eyeshadows and would love to get into them and these ones from Benefit look lovely! They have very good reviews online and the colour selection is excellent! Really want to try out one of these!

LUSH Gingerbread House Bubble Bar
I haven't actually tried any of LUSH's bubble bars yet and am dying to! I have also been very into cosy, homely scents in many different products recently and everyone seems to LOVE this product! It isn't very expensive and I will definitely be picking this up the first opportunity I get!

Maybelline 'One by One' Mascara
I am in need of a new mascara and have been using the 'Great Lash' also by Maybelline for a while now and have loved it! I thought I would stick with the brand and I hope to try out this mascara ASAP!

Revlon Colourstay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin
I really want to try out a new, more expensive foundation and after rave reviews on YouTube and blogs I would be silly not to try this!
I have combination skin and my foundation seems to slide off my T-zone so this seems like a good foundation!
It is priced at around £12.00 so it is on the more expensive side (I am only 13 guys!) so I might have to wait till after I have saved up enough money for my new phone.

That's all for now girlies!
Much Love,

Glade 'Honey and Chocolate' Candle Thoughts!

Hellooo there!

Today I am going to be talking about something slightly different - a candle that I picked up from Tesco's a while ago!

Behold! The Glade 'Honey and Chocolate' Scented Candle!

This candle cost me £2.00 from Tesco as it was half price! (You do the maths!) I absolutely loved the packaging and couldn't wait to try it out!

My Thoughts:
I think this candle smells absolutely delicious! It does not smell at all sickly but just warming and to be honest not much of honey and chocolate but it really helps to make a room feel cosy and I don't mind it not smelling of it too much! I have been burning it every night for just over a week now and I still have loads left, so it is definitely a good buy in terms of how long it lasts!
The packaging is strong and sturdy glass with a beautiful, festive design on it which I absolutely love!

Overall I really enjoy using this candle and for £2.00 it is an absolute steal! Will definitely be repurchasing and/or trying some other scents!

Hope you enjoyed this little post!
Have you tried these candles before? Which brands of candles do you like? I'd love to know!

Much Love,
Lizzy

FOTD: Simple with a touch of Pink!

Hello lovely blog readers!

Today I have a FOTD for you which is a very simple hang-around-at-home sort of look (because that is all I shall be doing today! haha!).

I just decided to go back to my Rimmel '25 hour wear foundation' as I knew I wasn't going to be doing much today and just wanted something to make me feel a little better about myself.
I haven't used the foundation in at least 4 months and when I used it today I was pleasantly suprised! It wasn't as pale as I had remembered and using my Revlon Foundation Brush I was able to blend it really well for a natural, polished look!
I think I might start wearing this a bit more!

On my face:

Rimmel 25 hour wear Foundation - '100 Ivory'
Estee Lauder Lucidity Translucent Loose Powder - 'Medium'
Maybelline Dream Touch Blush (Cream Blush) - '06'
MUA Lipstick - 'Shade 7'

Thanks for Reading and if you like my blog please mention it to your friends!

Much Love,
Lizzy

Product Review: John Frieda Freeze-Ease Hair Serum!

Review Time!

John Frieda Frizz-Ease Hair Serum - £5.50
(available at Boots, Superdrug & Drugstores)

I bought this hair serum about 1-2 months ago when I wasn't entirely happy with the condition of my hair. I needed something that would smooth out any flyways and just make my fine, straight hair a lot more sleek without looking greasy or weighing my hair down - this product is EXACTLY that! (Plus it gives thermal protection, although I can't be too sure how well it works!) :D

The way I use this product is as follows: I squeeze any excess water out of my hair and dry it with a towel. (I then do my makeup which takes around 5-10mins) Next, I take just under one pump of the serum and rub it between my palms before evenly distributing it throughout  my hair and finally drying it.

This product works really well as it is easy to use and it doesn't make my hair feel 'wieghed down' or greasy in the slightest. It simply helps reduce the amount of flyaways (it doesn't eliminate them but wasn't expecting it to!) and makes my hair shiny and soft. I absolutely love this product and it is definitely worth the extra few pounds!

Can't wait to try more from this line!!

Please tell me what you thought of this review -- any constructive criticism is appreciated!

Much Love,
Lizzy

Skin Care Haul!

Skin Care Haul! :]

Hello Girlies! I am kicking off my (new) blog with a skin care haul!
I, (well my lovely mother) went to Superdrug today and purchased some needed skin care items from the brand 'Simple'. I have had good experiences with Simple products that I have tried before so decided to pick up some different ones along with two of my skin care staples.

(Just a warning - sorry about the artificial lighting! Curse you winter weather!)

Simple Clear Skin Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes - £2.00
These wipes were a repurchase and I love them! I use these to take off my makeup before using a cleanser or when I'm in a pinch at a friend's house, etc! They always make my face feel really refreshed.

Simple Kind to Skin Soothing Facial Toner - £2.00
This was a new purchase for me and it looks like a very refreshing and gentle toner as it is 100% alcohol free, something I am careful of when using toners as I hate the burning sensation that sometimes comes with products like that.

Simple Kind to Eyes Eye Make-up Remover - £2.00
This is another staple in my routine as I just love the way it melts my eye makeup off and it really nourishes and moisturisers my eye lashes! And for this price! Who can refuse?

Simple Spotless Skin Triple Action Face Wash - £3.00
This last product is new to me and I hope it lives up to its name as I could really do with having some of these spots off of my face!!

That's all for my haul! Hope you enjoyed! :)
Much Love,
Lizzy
